Sarah Hirst is currently in her 3rd and final year on a fine art degree. The theme of her work is about exploring the masks we wear in everyday life. She has been blogging on DAO as a way of recording her thought processes and progress in making her final film piece.

The gallery here represents a series of Dream Watercolours. She says:

"My dreams and hallucinations are a reflection of my subconcious and so my research has led me down the path of surrealism. I experimented with automatic drawing, which helped me as a device to stay in lectures. Here are a few paintings made in response to my dreams."
